Um but yes! Kiyoshi is in the BC this week for the Superheroism/villainy theme, with this totally non-canon non-dresslike non-washable getup! If you would like to vote, the entry can be found here: [link] I would be beyond grateful for any help you'd be willing to give. ^^

...I have no idea what kind of superhero Kiyoshi would be, by the way. xD He's always been the type to idolize larger-than-life heroes like Jeran and Hannah, but he isn't really like them. In a way he's too chaotic to be something as straightforwardly good as a superhero. I'd say antihero, but then I start thinking things like Batman and Han Solo and, well, no. Kiyoshi does have a very firm sense of what's right and wrong; he just makes a lot of very human (...er... Neopian? ...Shoyru?) mistakes.

Also, I buckled down and did digital lineart on this one, as you can probably tell, and now I remember why I've been avoiding doing so lately. Good lord it takes forever. And the more trivial details you have, such as buckles and lenses and stripes, for example, the longer it takes. But. I think it was worth it? xD; Definitely looks better than it did with just pencil lines, anyway. And for the record, half-tone effects are ridiculously fun and now that I've found my method I will never be the same again.
