Sorry about the lack of submissions and such from me lately! I got caught by midterms and then NaNo and then finals, so the last couple of months have been a bit mad. On the plus side, they are over now. = D So there you go. Expect a bunch of silly drawings and drabble and NaNo-related scribbles now that I'm on break for a couple of weeks. I drew Kiyoshi! In heroic tights. I'll bet you guys can't wait for that.
(...also, Disneyworld in ten days! Eeeeeeeeeeeee)
And I was tagged by
Rules
1. You must post these rules (very, VERY Important )
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create ten new questions for the people you tag to answer.
3. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
4. Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him.
5. No tag backs
6. No crap in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you're reading this." You legitimately (AKA, really, truly with all honesty) have to tag 10 people"

1. What was the topic of the last story you wrote?
That would be my NaNo, I guess, seeing as I'm still sort of working on it? It's a steampunk fairy tale about a human boy and a fairy changeling who have to work with gods, soldiers and scientists to end the war that's tearing their planet apart. Basically. = D
2. Which of your current drawings on dA are you most proud of right now?
Um... I dunno, I'm usually the most proud of whatever I last drew, otherwise I tend not to upload it. xD; So possibly Still, I guess? But I admit I am still kind of quietly pleased with how Edge of the Map turned out.
3. Name one dA artist you admire.
Only one? Hmm... I've always been a huge fan of *meradragon. She's incredibly talented, and the time, care and detail she puts into every one of her pieces is obvious. But she's one of those successful and established artists who never acts like she's successful and established, you know? I find sometimes dA newbies are the friendliest and warmest members of the community, because they still have something to prove and unlike many artists at her level, Meradragon has never lost that approachability. There's no smugness or overconfidence in the way she talks to others. Her demeanour is as inspiring as her artwork, and I really admire that about her.
(I admire pretty much all of you guys for similar and different reasons, though. <3)
4. Where do you spend most of your time online?
The NTWF. xD No question.
5. What art program do you use?
I do all my sketches on paper, and almost every other step in Photoshop Elements 6. I often use Manga Studio Debut 4 for lineart, though, because Elements doesn't have a pen tool and Manga Studio does. = D
6. What is your favorite color to wear?
Oh, er... *tilts head* ...that's a big question. xD; There aren't really any colours I don't wear. Probably my favourite would be bright green, though? A yellow-green, preferably. It feels so springish. = D
7. How many hand-held game systems do you own? (Feel free to list the games, too~)
NONE. ;______; It's terrible, I know. The only game system I've ever owned has been my computer, and even then. Well. Gaming is not exactly one of my familiar fields of nerdery. Someday when I'm rich....
8. Which educational video or computer games did you play as a kid?
I had a lot of these, actually! The big ones were Carmen Sandiego: Math Detective and Math Blaster, because I didn't like math and I think my parents were trying desperately to make it seem more exciting to me also I probably needed the practice. xD; I also had a vast quantity of Living Books, which were these digital versions of picture books that you could explore and click around in to find hidden animations and mini songs and such. They were great. My favourite was Harry and the Haunted House, and I think that might have actually been what first sparked my interest in ghosty things.
9. What's your earliest memory involving computers?
I was embarrassingly late to board the internet bandwagon (I was almost fourteen when I started using it seriously! D: ), but I started using computers basically as soon as I was capable of clutching a mouse. We had a Commodore 64 on a little computer trolley behind the couch (there was this kind of alleyway behind it with shelves where my sister and I kept all our toys), and I can very clearly remember sitting back there playing a Sesame Street game called Astro Grover where Grover either flew or jumped over the tops of buildings. I was... I dunno, three, maybe? But it was amazing! = D
10. Which instant messaging system do you prefer to use?
MSN, I guess, although since I only sign into it every eight months or so, it would probably be safe to say that instant messaging is not my preferred form of communication in general. >____>;

My questions:
1. Do you like your first name?
2. What is the single craziest thing you've ever done?
3. What is one skill you don't have at all, but you really wish you did?
4. Type the first word to come into your head when I say "monster."
5. How many icons do you have on your desktop right now?
6. Choose one of the following: Pirates, Ninjas, Steampunk, Cowboys, Vikings, Aliens, or Knights.
7. What has it got in its pocketses?
8. Would you rather feel warm on a cold day, or cool on a hot day?
9. What is your favourite clothing zone (eg. hats? jackets? shoes?), if any? (Can be in the general aesthetic sense; doesn't necessarily need to be your favourite to shop for/wear/etc.)
10. You find yourself locked in the deepest, darkest dungeon of Evil Overlord of the Week. You're alone, unarmed, out of tricks, and all you have with you are three objects that you found hidden in the mildewy pile of straw on the floor, probably left by other prisoners: a wooden bird, a gold coin, and a good sized femur. Unfortunately, the guards are coming to take you up to the gallows, and you only have time to hide one of the objects in your clothes before you're dragged away. Which one do you take, and why?
I tag your mom.
